This Cookie Policy explains how NextPath Solutions Limited ("NextPath", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on this website (nextpath.hk).
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work in comparable ways.
Our Approach
We take a privacy-first approach. NextPath does not itself set any cookies on this website, and we do not use cookies or similar technologies to track you or for advertising or marketing purposes. Our website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) are cookieless.
The one exception is the appointment scheduler on our Contact page. The scheduler is Microsoft Bookings, a Microsoft 365 service, and it is displayed inside a frame that loads content from Microsoft (from Microsoft domains such as outlook.office365.com and bookings.cloud.microsoft). When that frame loads, Microsoft may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser in order to operate the scheduler. These cookies are set by Microsoft, not by NextPath, and are governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement. The scheduler is loaded only when you choose to open it by clicking the button on the Contact page; until then, no Microsoft content is loaded and no cookies are set. No other part of this website sets cookies.
Analytics
To understand how our website is used and to keep it fast, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics — Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by Vercel Inc. These collect aggregated, anonymised usage and performance data, including the page URL. They do not store cookies on your device and are not used to track you across other websites. Vercel distinguishes visits using a short-lived hash derived from the request, which cannot be used to identify you and which Vercel discards within 24 hours. Server-Side Security Records
Separately from cookies, our servers keep a short-lived security record of requests made to this website, in order to protect it from attack and misuse. This record includes a partial IP address (the first two segments only) and the browser identification string your browser sends with every request. It is created by our servers and is not stored on, or read from, your device — it is not a cookie or a similar technology, and it cannot be managed through your browser settings. It is used only for security, never for analytics or marketing. It is described in full under "Website Visitors" in our Privacy Policy.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
If we introduce any strictly necessary cookies in future — for example, to support core functionality or security — we will update this policy to describe them. Such cookies, if used, are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off through this site.
Managing Cookies
You can view, control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Because NextPath does not itself set cookies, blocking cookies will not affect how this website functions, with one exception: the Microsoft Bookings scheduler on our Contact page may not load or work correctly if your browser blocks third-party cookies. If that happens, you can open the scheduler directly on Microsoft's website using the link provided on the Contact page, or email us at info@nextpath.hk to arrange an appointment. If you do not open the scheduler, no cookies are set during your visit.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised. If we ever introduce cookies that require your consent, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
